You pick my next topic!

How many of you know who Louise Hay is? I'm sure you would have at least heard her name spoken. What about Doreen Virtue or Cheryl Richardson? Well, last week I went to Sydney and met these amazing ladies at a 'You Can Do It' Conference. It was so inspiring and really motivated me to keep writing. I'm in the editing stage with The Time Walker and it's not as fun as the creative part of writing can be so I tend to procrastinate a lot. This has caused me to fall behind in my editing schedule. Luckily, this conference really motivated me to keep going and I've edited half my book in only a few days.

I've also been thinking about my future and am looking and going back to study. I've always wanted to get my Masters Degree and so I think I'm going to enroll in a Masters of Arts (Writing and Literature). It's going to be a lot of work and will give me less time to actually write, but hopefully it will up skill me and the writing that I will do will be better. Plus, it'll teach me how to do other things like write scripts. Wish me luck!

I run out of interesting things to tell you so I'd love to open this blog up for questions or topics. If you have a question for me or a topic you'd like me to talk about, please either leave it in the comments below or contact me on Facebook or Twitter. It can be writing related but it doesn't have to be... let's just talk about life.

I really look forward to some interesting topics for us to discuss in coming weeks/months.

  1. Good luck with the new direction in life. A Master's program can be a lot of work but it should prove to be an interesting time.

  2. Hey there, Hannah. For your post next week, might I suggest you check out the Insecure Writers Support group at: http://alexjcavanaugh.blogspot.com/p/insecure-writers-support-group.html

It's a really great monthly blog hop for writers where we get to express insecurities, vent frustrations, celebrate accomplishments, and provide encouraging words. I've found it to be a worthwhile blogging endeavor. :)

  3. Nicki, thanks for the reminder about IWSG.

Hannah, I was struggling to come up with a topic today and sadly for my readers I was at work, so I wrote a post on how to drink alcohol in a low risk way ha ha!
