Cursing Athena Dream Cast

Hey, peeps! Hope you’re all doing well! Before I get going with my post, I want to take a moment to thank Hannah for having me on her blog today. I’m honored to be here and hope you enjoy my personal Dream cast for my latest work, Cursing Athena.

Blurb:

For Danika, the only thing worse than going commando while wearing a fugly, silver bodysuit, was dealing with her deadbeat, ex-husband James. Catcalls, unwanted groping and lecherous stares weren’t really her cup of tea either, but she’d endure all of it and more if her new job serving cocktails at Masquerade meant ridding herself of his mountain of debt. It was just a job, after all, and what choice did she have with James' creditors breathing down her neck? What she didn't bargain for, however, was falling heels-over-head in lust with a two-hundred-plus pound, shape-shifting immortal from Ancient Greece.

On a mission to take down a parasitic demon, Ty doesn't have time for distraction. Not even when that distraction could prove to be his possible lifemate in the form of sweet, innocent, yet sexy-as-hell Danika. But when the leech he’s hunting goes after the cocktail waitress, all bets are off. Unable to resist her siren call any longer, Ty surrenders himself to Danika, body and soul, treating them both to a night they'll never forget.

If you’ve read any of my work, you know I’m all about strong, Alpha type males. I like my heroes tough, a bit cocky (hee hee, I said cock) and fiercely protective of their women. Ty, the hero from Cursing Athena fits the above description to a T! At six foot three, 250 plus pounds, Ty is a giant helping of raw masculinity and menace encased in a handsome, blond haired, blue-eyed package. He’s big, he’s burly and he’s hot as hell. I pictured him easily in my mind, but couldn’t, for the life of me, find an actor/celebrity I felt could do him any justice. That was, until a very wise Facebook friend reminded me of the very handsome, very sexy, Chris Hemsworth.

Chris, IMO, is Ty. He’s fierce, formidable and sexy as hell. Rawr!!!!

Danika, the heroine in Cursing Athena, is not only blond and beautiful, but she possesses a gentle spirit that makes you feel for her and the crappy situation she finds herself in. I think Victoria’s Secret model, Doutzen Kroes would make a perfect Danika.

Suave, slick and dirty all the way down to his soul, Danika’s boss and the owner of Club Masquerade, Antonio “Tony” Bocce was a tough character to cast. I felt the Italian businessman needed a handsome Italian actor to play him. In the end I chose Luca Argentero, who recently starred in Eat, Pray, Love. I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing the film, but I had fun perusing his pics!

When trying to decide whom to cast as the goddess, Athena, two women immediately came to mind: Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. Both women are beyond beautiful…drop dead gorgeous really, and it made my decision a tough one. There was one picture I came across that sealed the deal for me and tipped the scales placing the lovely and oh-so-fierce Alessandra as my pick for the fiery goddess.

Rounding out my dream cast would be Jason O’Mara playing Danika’s sleazy ex-husband, James. This bad boy is hot, hot, hot, and I fell in love with him the moment I saw him on this past season’s new TV show, Terra Nova. He’s rugged, and just a little bit dirty. Me likey!

So, that’s my Dream Cast. Who do you see in the above-mentioned roles? Do you agree with my choices, or do you think I got it all wrong? Weigh in with a comment!
