Isn't it just typical? I have been thinking of amusing anecdotes to tell you all week, thinking that I would remember them when I came to write this post and now that I'm sitting in front of the computer... I've got nothing! So, I'll just have to give you the exciting news without the fluffy fun.

Have you been drinking your coffee in the morning and wished that you could drink it out of a mug that has my book cover on it? Or, did you finish reading Pieces of Us and want to proclaim to the world that you loved it by wearing a novelty t-shirt proudly down the street? Well, friends, now is your chance. My publisher has created a merchandise store and you can buy all kinds of products that have my book cover on them. If you can think of a novelty item that you would like that's not already listed on the page, just let me know and I will try and get it included for sale. You can access my merchandise here -

I'd also like to thank everyone who voted on my poll. The feedback was very helpful and I'm glad to see that you all enjoy the kinds of posts that I'm currently writing. A few people indicated that they would like to see me talk about reader's topics - I would love that. Please feel free to email/tweet/facebook/comment and let me know if you have a topic that you'd like me to write about.

Now, on to some more exciting news... last week I ran a contest to give away 2 copies of Poughkeepsie by my friend and fellow author, Debra Anastasia, and I'm about to announce the winners.

Congratulations to ConfusedDeandra and CharliDenae. I will forward your details to Debra and she will send you a copy of her novel. I just know you will love it! My advice is to take your phone off the hook, grab some yummy snacks and settle in for a whole day/night of reading because you won't want to put this book down. Don't forget the tissues! For everyone else, don't fear, you can still purchse Poughkeepsie from Amazon or Omnific Publishing and I can give my personal recomendation that it's worth reading. I'm currently reading it for the second time and loving it.

On a personal note, I'm gearing up for Christmas. I've done about 90% of my present shopping and have put my Christmas tree up at home. For the past few days I've had "It's begining to look a lot like Christmas..." playing on repeat in my head. I love this time of year!
